Frankie Addison, DC Native, Gifted Talented Extraordinary Musician, Energetic Saxophonist, (Alto, Soprano, Tenor, and the Flute).  Educator, Composer, Arranger, Music Director, Band Leader, Session Musician and Actor portraying Lester Young, Tenor Saxophonist in the life of Billie Holiday, Jazz Vocalist.    

Frankie demonstrated his commitment to music at an early age with excellence while attending Terrell and Shaw Jr. High Schools, and a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia. While striving for Excellence, his mentor was the “late King Curtis, Saxophonist who was his idol.    Frankie formed his own jazz group, “Front Line Jazz Ensemble at the age of 17”, under his direction.  Frankie, in his later years moved on to the Blues Alley Big Band.  He has personally been privileged to play alongside with; Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Branford and Ellis Marsalis, Angela Bofield, Angela Winbush, Isaac Hayes and Norman Connors, and have performed in the White House for the Inaugural Ball of President George W. Bush, and Performed for President Nelson Madela during his first visit to the United States.    

Frankie has performed at the Kennedy Center, the New Blues Alley in Baltimore, Warner and Lincoln Theater, Wolf Trap, the Old Post Office Pavilion and Club Lafayette.  Frankie has been on tour to Europe to performed in Paris, France, Italy, London, Rome, Germany Switzerland, and Japan.  Frankie; leaves an everlasting effect on his audiences with all of his performances.    


Benetta Ann Chisholm

Native Washingtonian, Jazz Vocalist, Theatrical Actress, Writer, Composer, and arranger. Benetta, has performed with the East Coast Jazz Festival, under the direction of the Late Ronnie Wells, Founder, and CEO, in 2004, 2005, and 2006.  Benetta Ann vocal singing talents began in her father’s church at the early age of five, The Late Rev. William Chisholm, Sr, and the late Mrs. Benetta Chisholm.   Benetta is gifted with a very powerful voice and range, a sound that is so rich one performance creates a lifetime of appreciation for her “unique style.”  

Benetta is a honor graduate of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, while in training for her professional vocal development and theatrical training was with the “Legendary Icon Pearl Bailey, which led her to attend Carnegie-Mellon University for continue training in Theatrical Training and professional development for her voice. Benetta graduated from Howard University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, and Cum Laude.   

Benetta, was chosen and selected as one of the “Distinguished Vocalist and Theatrical Actress of Howard University.”  Her talent led her to a “Theatrical and Vocalist Exchange with Performers in Budapest, Hungary, Europe and the Countryside of Russia, and also led to a five year tour being accompanied by a “Big Band Orchestra, Benetta Ann was discovered by Mr. Billy Dee Williams, who sponsor her tours.  Benetta Ann, has performed in New York, the West Coast; including the Croce’s Jazz Bar, Earthquake Club, The Spice Club, the Nuceus Nuance Supper Club own by Mr. Billy Dee Williams,  Benetta Ann, performed in Dreamgirls as Effie, and “Ain’t Misbehavin, and Dorothy in “The Wiz.”  

Benetta, was hired by AJQ Jazz Quintet, Melvin Miles, Music Director, and Band Leader, Performed at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, U. S. Department of the Interior. Benetta, worked with AJQ for more than 10 years, and has performed with the Legendary Icon Lady Byron,  and was featured Vocalist on the Cruise Ship, “The Odysses, and peformed with the Howard Franklin Quintet.     Benetta, received a “Proclamation for her outstanding Performances in the Arts from Mayor Anthony Williams in April 2003, and was invited to teach on July 2017 at the Jazz Academy Music Summer Camp by Paul Carr, Director.  “Jazz Masters Class; “A Vocalist Voice is an Instrument.”   Benetta, continues to grace the stage in performance, and gives her Audience her impressive range of her rhythm range of her voice, her sophisticated sounds of jazz, the rhythm of blues, and the soul of her performance leaves you with a unique wonderful experience.
